Natalie Does Italy

I already know that going to Italy is going to be a life-changing experience. Because I think that we oftentimes have trouble remembering the minute details of the things that affect us the most, sometimes even forgetting the effect they had on us, I want to document the journey from start to finish. Also, this will be a good place for family and friends to keep up with what I'm doing while I'm there since I won't be talking to them every day.

Less than four weeks...

Well... yesterday was juries and today is day one of exams, so that means that soon I won't have to set foot on Elon ground for almost a year after exams are over. We're down to 27 days. It's cold outside. I'm working two jobs to try to make some money for Italy but that's not going so well. And it's almost Christmas.

My flights are all confirmed. Raleigh to JFK to Zurich to Rome. That's a lot of airports. And countries. AND I finally got my visa.

I'm ready... except I haven't packed and I don't know a damn bit of Italian.
